A notary public is a civil servant whose function is to provide the citizen with the legal security guaranteed by the 9th article of the Spanish Constitution. They act as guarantors of legal transactions for both the citizens and the state. Notary publics are organised into professional associations which support them in their activity while monitoring their operations. The heads of these associations constitute the General Council of Notary Publics, which represents this professional collective at the national level.

This is a legally independent public institution for the representation and coordination of trade associations in Andalusia, particularly regarding interaction and negotiation with the public administrations attached to the Junta de Andalucia.

It is responsible for the representation of trade, industry and navigation at the regional level, embracing all provincial councils in aiming towards the promotion of economic activity in Andalusia.

This offers professional federal and cross-sector federation, created under the Law for the Regulation of Trade Unions for the coordination, representation, management and defence of the interests of entrepreneurs at the provincial level. It cooperates with local institutions for the development of the province, signing agreements for the promotion of the role of entrepreneurs and highlighting their key part in economic development.

This is a professional cross-sector federation operating at the regional level and aimed at the coordination, representation, management, promotion and defence of entrepreneurial interests. It is institutionally and legally autonomous and fully qualified for the development of its functions. The CEA was born in Antequera (Málaga) in January 1979 to embody the hopes of a select group of entrepreneurs from all Andalusian provinces.
