The Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Seville, Spain) is pleased to announce the First International Conference on Innovative Translation and Interpreting Research (ICITIR).

The two-day First International Conference on Innovative Translation and Interpreting Research at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Seville) will provide young researchers (postgraduate or doctoral students) with the opportunity to:

1) Present and discuss your research work: if you are involved in research in the areas of Translation and Interpreting or related fields, you are invited to submit an abstract for consideration. Works will be reviewed by an international group of experts.
2) Attend specialised seminars that will be helpful for your future research processes, given by a team of international PhD and postgraduate trainers. The seminars and workshops will cover the following topics: new trends in Translation and Interpreting research, state of the art in TI postgraduate training programmes, research methods for Translation and Interpreting studies and other related fields.
3) Receive qualified and confidential feedback on your work if you wish so.

La Universidad Pablo de Olavide, de Sevilla, se complace en anunciar la celebración del I Congreso Internacional de Innovación Investigadora en Traducción e Interpretación (ICITIR, en sus siglas en inglés)

El congreso, de dos días de duración y que se celebrará en la Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Sevilla), ofrecerá a jóvenes investigadores (estudiantes de doctorado o postgrado) la oportunidad de:

1) Exponer y debatir su trabajo. Aquellos investigadores que se encuentren realizando una investigación en Traducción e Interpretación o en campos afines, pueden presentar un abstract, con objeto de que se considere su inclusión en el congreso. Los trabajos serán evaluados por un grupo internacional de expertos.
2) Asistir a seminarios especializados, de gran utilidad para investigaciones futuras y que serán impartidos por un equipo internacional de docentes de doctorado y postgrado. En los seminarios y talleres se abordarán los siguientes temas: nuevas tendencias en Investigación en Traducción e Interpretación, el estado de la cuestión en la docencia de postgrado en Traducción e Interpretación, métodos de investigación en los estudios de Traducción e Interpretación y otros campos afines.
3) Recibir feedback cualificado y confidencial de su trabajo, si así lo desean.
