amparo-novo Amparo Novo, PhD in Political Sciences (Universidad de Santiago de Compostela). She has taught at the following universities: Santiago de Compostela, Vigo, Oviedo, École Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d´Angers (France) and Anáhuac in Xalapa (Mexico). She is a professor at the University of Oviedo. She has participated in several regional and national research projects. She belongs to the research groups Social Cohesion and Public Policies in the EU and Politics and Communication in the New Public Space. She is the author and co-author of a number of publications about fundamental questions in Political Science, electoral campaigns, young people lifestyle, social change and old people, gender and politics, cinema and identity, labor market and immigration.
