jaime Antonio M. Jaime Castillo, PhD in Sociology (Universidad de Granada) is a Professor of Sociology (tenured) at the Universidad de Granada and Researcher at the Centro de Estudios Andaluces, his PhD dissertation received the Commendation for the doctoral thesis Award from the National Association of Doctors and Graduates in Political Sciences and Sociology (2004). He has been Visiting Scholar in several research centres, such as the Norwegian Social Science Data Services (University of Bergen), the Zentral Archiv (University of Cologne), the ICPSR (University of Michigan) and the Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis (University of Indiana). He has participated in several research projects of national and international scope. His lines of research are focused on political sociology, public election, economic sociology and quantitative methods of social research. He can be contacted at amjaime@ugr.es .
