fabiola-mota Fabiola Mota, PhD in Political Science (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) and a researcher at the Centre for Andalusian Studies. She has been a professor at the Universidad de Murcia and has studied at the Centre of Political and Constitutional Studies and the Institut d’Estudis Politics i Socials (UAB). She has been Visiting Scholar at the European University Institute (Florence), London School of Economics, ICPSR of the University of Michigan (USA) and Indiana University. She has participated in several research projects funded by the I+D National Plan and also by the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Union. She has published extensively about her lines of research focused on culture and political behavior, political development and autonomous communities, civil society and social capital.
