fernando-jimenez Fernando Jiménez Sánchez, PhD in Political Science (Universidad Complutense, Madrid), is a tenured professor in the field of Political and Administration Sciences, Universidad de Murcia. He is Doctor-member of the Juan March Institute of Studies and Research. He has been Visiting Scholar at the University of California (San Diego, U.S.A.) and University of Michigan Institute for Social Research. He has published in prestigious national and international journals about several topics related to democracy performance and their actors, issues in which he participates in international studies. He is a member of the international scientist committee of the collection PACTE (Politiques publiques, Action politique, Territoires) of the IEP of Grenoble and of the Scientific Committee of the Escola Galega Journal on Public Administration, Administration and Citizenship.
