Kerman Calvo, PhD in Sociology and Doctor Member of the Juan March Institute. He is a García Pelayo researcher at the Centre of Political and Constitutional Studies. He has taught at the Universities of Essex, Carlos III, Oberta of Catalonia, Pompeu Fabra and San Luis University. He has been a researcher at the Human Rights Centre of Essex University. He has extensively published in national and international journals, as well as chapters in books about politics and the working of democracy. His areas of interest are the relation between religion and politics in Spain. He can be contacted at kcalvo@cepc.es.
