Democracy and Autonomies: Society and Politics (DASP) is a team of multidisciplinary researchers oriented to the study of socio-political problems in contemporary society. It is composed of young academics who work in several Spanish and European universities. Their work deals with topics of social and political nature of interest for Sociology, Political Science and other social sciences. DASP is not a group of opinion; it is independent from parties and groups of interest. The study and analysis of both current and historical empirical data is the bases of their work. DASP membership is voluntary.
Members of DASP take part in a variety of projects. The backbone of the group’s work involves the survey to political representatives (senators, deputies and members of autonomous chambers) on different subjects and the study about conflict and political consensus in parliaments.
