The objectives of the project is to identify alternative evolutionary paths in new ventures to determine the co-evolution of strategic repertoires of competitive actions, dynamic managerial capabilities and board composition under different industries/environmental contexts. This objective is relevant because it: (1) allows advancement in the study of the early evolution of new ventures from a dynamic perspective; (2) signals the existence of patterns of strategic directories, dynamic managerial capabilities and board compositions that co-evolve; and (3) considers the specific conditions of different industries/environments.
