Scientific Disclosure

Art. 93 of the Spanish Organic Law of Universities (LOU) sets that one of the main purposes of communication in the university setting is the scientific disclosure.
Likewise, UPO regulations establish that the dissemination of science, technology and culture are part of the research activity .

Disseminating innovations from both scientific and humanistic activities is basic for the university to fulfil its social commitment and become a reference in research at national and international level.

If you want to disseminate your research results, you can get the support and advising you need from the Office of Communication (Unidad Técnica de Comunicación). You can contact the service of scientific disclosure via e-mail: prensa@upo.es.

Directory of Experts. Journalists and mass media members come to UPO to get good quality analysis about current issues or to get information for their news and reports. If you wish to be part of UPO’s Directory of Experts, you have to contact the Office of Communication, indicating what issue you are willing to cooperate with mass media about.
