The 10th European Congress for the History of Sport
will take place in Seville/Spain. The Universidad
Pablo Olavide de Sevilla has recently started courses
in the Faculty of Sports and is celebrating the
beginning of a new era for this Faculty with this
Congress and its important content. This congress
will bring together the world’s finest researchers
of sports history, scholars capable of discussing
and disseminating their professionally relevant
findings. This is the tenth anniversary of CESH,
an organisation that has shown its supreme character
as the most prestigious organisation of sport history
in Europe.
Previous congress have taken place in: Rome (Italy)
(1996), Katowice (Poland) (1997), Copenhagen (Denmark)
(1998), Florence (Italy) (1999), Madrid (Spain)
(2000), Göttingen (Germany) (2001), Besancon
(France) (2002), Ancient Olympia (Greece) (2003)
