The History of Sport is a growing field. The congress is open to anyone with a professional interest in the history of Sport, particularly to sport historians, the members of CESH and university teachers interested in the area of sport history, as well as other professional physical educators and sport scientists who are working in this field. Graduate students are very welcome. The congress is also open to a limited number of students (Physical Education, Sport Studies, Humanities, Psychology, and Education etc.) who are interested in adding such a fine experience of scientific endeavour to their educational experience and curriculum vitae. A number of universities also offer funding/credit for active participation in the congress.
 

CERTIFICACIONS

Further Education

 

The Universidad Pablo de Olavide and CESH provide certificates of participation to all regular participants of the Congress; for University staff of Andalucia the 10th Congress of CESH is accepted as a course of further education; for those who need such a form they should contact the Dirección General de Evaluación Educativa y Formación del profesorado de la Consejería de Educación de la Junta de Andalucía.

 

Registration fee

 

Credit for participation in a free elective is provided to all students of the Universidad Pablo de Olavide; for those and only for those who do an additional relevant written work additional some credit will be given by the Sport Faculty. The evaluation of the course work will be done by the Scientific Committee of the Congress. The relevant texts should be sent to the Secretary of the Scientific Committee and the Secretary General of the Congress.

The Registration fee includes the participation in the congress and its different activities, the official documentation of the Congress (Proceedings), cultural visits to the ancient Roman city called Itálica, participation the Gala Cóctel of the Congress and the diploma of participation plus whatever other documentation is necessary (e.g. diploma with the title of the paper presented).
There will be an additional cultural programme for guests. The maximum number of participants in the Congress will be limited to 400 persons. Registration will be strictly on a first come, first served basis.
