Active and assisted living programme (AAL-2): Call challenge 2018

El topic de la convocatoria 2018 es “Smart Solutions for Ageing well”. El objetivo de esta convocatoria internacional es respaldar proyectos de colaboración innovadores, transnacionales y multidisciplinares que desarrollen soluciones basadas en las TIC dirigidas a cualquier área de aplicación dentro del dominio AAL.

A esta convocatoria se pueden presentar dos tipos de proyecto: A) Consorcio y proyectos tradicionales;  B) Pequeños proyectos colaborativos.

NOTA: Las Universidades españolas solo podrán participar si solicitan el proyecto junto con Hospitales, centros de atención primaria o de salud pública del Sistema Nacional de Salud (SNS), Institutos de Investigación Sanitaria Acreditados (IIS), CIBER o CIBERNED. Consular las reglas de participación nacional, cuyo responsable es el Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII).

CALL – UCPM: PREVENTION AND PREPAREDNESS IN CIVIL PROTECTION AND MARINE POLLUTION

Under the present Call for Proposals funding may be awarded to projects in 2 separate policy areas: Prevention and Preparedness. There is also a general section applicable both to prevention and preparedness projects which outlines the admissibility requirements, the eligibility criteria, the exclusion criteria and the selection and award criteria.

PREVENTION: Refers to any action aimed at reducing risks or mitigating adverse consequences of disasters for people, the environment and property, including cultural heritage.

PREPARADNESS: Means a state of readiness and capability of human and material means, structures, communities and organisations enabling them to ensure an effective rapid response to a disaster, obtained as a result of action taken in advance.

ERA-NET Cofund SusCrop: 1st Transnational Joint Call on Sustainable Crop Production

El objetivo principal de la convocatoria de la ERA-NET-Cofund on Sustainable Crop Production(SusCrop) es mejorar la sostenibilidad y la resiliencia de la producción de cultivos en el Espacio Europeo de Investigación (ERA) apoyando proyectos de  I+D e innovación transnacionales sobre este tema. Las propuestas presentadas deben ser de carácter multidisciplinar y deben abordar al menos uno de los siguientes topics:

  1. Enhancement of predictive breeding technologies and development of new genotypes leading to new phenotypes and crop varieties for improvement of plant health, protection, production and resilience;
  2. Development and exploitation of novel integrated pest and crop management methods and practice;
  3. Improvement of resource-use efficiency of crops and cropping systems;
  4. Systemic research on agricultural crops as part of an ecosystem including interactions between plants and other organisms (“the plant as a meta-organism”).

ERA-NET on Cardiovascular Diseases: JT call for proposals 2018 “Transnational Cardiovascular Research Projects driven by Early Career Scientists”

Esta JTC2018 tiene como principal objetivo permitir establecer a jóvenes científicos de diferentes países una colaboración efectiva en proyectos de investigación multidisciplinares. Los consorcios deberían basarse en la complementariedad y el intercambio de conocimientos en el campo de las enfermedades cardiovasculares, con un enfoque claro de investigación traslacional.

NOTA: Las Universidades españolas sólo podrán participar si solicitan el proyecto junto con Hospitales, centros de atención primaria o de salud pública del Sistema Nacional de Salud (SNS), Institutos de Investigación Sanitaria Acreditados (IIS), CIBER o CIBERNED. Convocatoria 2018 “Trastornos mentales” – Red Europea de Investigación ERA-NET COFUND NEURON III

Objeto: Facilitar proyectos de investigación multinacionales y colaborativos que aborden preguntas importantes relacionadas con la salud mental y los trastornos mentales.
Áreas de investigación:
• Investigación fundamental sobre la patogénesis, la etiología y los mecanismos de resiliencia de los trastornos mentales. Puede incluir el desarrollo de recursos innovadores o compartidos y tecnologías.
• Investigación clínica para desarrollar estrategias novedosas para la prevención, el diagnóstico temprano, la estratificación del paciente, la terapia y/o los procedimientos de rehabilitación para trastornos mentales.
Duración: máximo 3 años
Consorcio: Formado por un mínimo de tres y un máximo de cinco grupos de investigación elegibles de al menos tres países diferentes. No podrá incluir más de 2 socios del mismo país.
Financiación de los grupos que participen en proyectos concedidos a cargo del MINECO mediante la convocatoria de Acciones de Programación Conjunta Internacional 2018 o su equivalente. Es importante consultar los anexos nacionales correspondientes, ya que pueden existir incompatibilidades.

La iniciativa de programación conjunta sobre agua (WaterJPI) publicará una próxima convocatoria de ayudas en febrero con fecha cierre a mediados de abril.

Topic: “Closing the Water Cycle Gap – Sustainable Management of Water Resources”, con el que se abordarán 3 retos:

  • Enabling sustainable management of water resources,
  • Strengthening socio-economic approaches to water management, and
  • Supporting tools for sustainable integrative management of water resources.

Consorcio: Formado por un mínimo de tres socios, de al menos 3 países participantes diferentes (2 de los cuales deberán pertenecer a la Unión Europea o a países que formen parte de H2020).

JPI Healthy Diet for Healthy Life (JPI HDHL): Call for Joint Action “Nutrition & the Epigenome”

El objetivo de esta convocatoria es apoyar proyectos de I+D+I colaborativos que logren una mejor comprensión de las relaciones dieta-epigenoma y su efecto sobre la salud humana. Esto permitirá el desarrollo de estrategias de intervención para tratar enfermedades relacionadas con la nutrición y mantenerse saludable a lo largo de la vida.

Las propuestas deben enfocarse en la dieta y el epigenoma, y cubrir una de las siguientes áreas:

  • Establishing cause-and-effect relationships between diet, the epigenome and metabolic health;
  • Identifying risk factors and early stage epigenetic changes;
  • Epigenetic effects across the lifespan and inter (and potentially trans) generational epigenetic effects;
  • Investigation of modifiable factors that could be involved in epigenetic regulation;
  • The effect of diet and nutritional status on the intra-uterine environment.

Call for proposals ‘Health & social care 2018′ – JPI on Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND)

El Programa Conjunto de la UE sobre Investigación de Enfermedades Neurodegenerativas (JPND) ha abierto la convocatoria de propuestas de colaboración internacional que traten de mejorar la comprensión de los factores que contribuyen a la calidad y la prestación de asistencia sanitaria y social para las enfermedades neurodegenerativas. En esta convocatoria participan 20 países y tiene un presupuesto de 21M€.

SwafS will help citizens, organisations and territories to open a new chapter of their development through joint R&I activities in line with strategic orientations. It will contribute to the implementation of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) through institutional governance changes in Research Performing (RPOs) and Funding Organisations (RFOs), focusing on developing new partnerships and involving researchers, policy makers, citizens and industry.
