Call for papers

The Department of Business and Economics (Pablo de Olavide University, Seville) and Department of Business Administration (Cadiz University), announce the V International Workshop on Human Resources Management that is scheduled from May 19 to May 21, 2005 in Seville, Spain.

The workshop offers the possibility to discuss the most important aspects of Human Resource Management.

Invited speakers:

Professor Michael Hitt (University of Texas A&M).

Professor Adrienne Colella (University of Texas A&M).

Professor Edward Lazear (University of Stanford).

Professor Patrick Gunnigle (University of Limerick).

Deadlines:

• 15th December, 2004: Abstract submission.

• 15th January, 2005: Information of accepted abstracts.

• 1st April, 2005: Submission of full papers.

General information:

• Registration fee:
  • Before April 15th, 2005: 300 €.
  • After April 15th, 2005: 350 €.
• Ten grants would be awarded for PhD students to finance the registration. To apply for one of these awards, it is necessary to sent to the workshop’ e-mail (Workhrm@dee.upo.es) the following information by February 28, 2005: 

  1.       Curriculum vitae

  2.     PhD student certificate

• Registration fee include lunch and information sheets.
• The “BEST PAPER” prize will be awarded with 300 €.
• The workshop will be hold at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Seville).
• Simultaneous translation will be available.
