NanUpo
Nanomaterials: Synthesis and Characterization
Information
NanUpo offers characterization techniques for samples, especially for colloidal systems and solutions, containing nanoparticles. Fields of application include nanotechnology, bioscience and biopharmaceuticals, foods and drinks, pharmaceuticals and drug delivery, chemicals, paints, inks and coatings, cultural heritage, etc. Among the available techniques, Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) is mandatory. DLS is a characterization technique to study particulate materials, especially colloidal systems, nanoparticles and macromolecules in solution or dispersion, to determine particle size, molecular weight and electrophoretic mobility. Therefore, this technique gives greater insight into stability, helping to elucidate and solve product and process challenges.
NanUpo is equipped with a state-of-the-art DLS instrument that provides, for example, Multi-Angle DLS, which enables high-resolution angle-independent size measurements, and offers greater insight into the size distribution of your sample.
In addition to this premier technique, NanUpo also offers complementary techniques such as Infrared, UV/Vis and Raman spectroscopy (see additional information).
