Patrick O\u2019Brien, profesor de Historia Econ\u00f3mica de la London School of Economics, sera el encargado de abrir este encuentro cient\u00edfico con la conferencia \u2018<i>The Great Divergence, the Penalties of an Early Start and the Defects of an Imperial State.
