\"una<\/a>The UPO Governing Council, which is headed by the rector Vicente Guzm\u00e1n Fluja, has approved this morning the proposal for new university vacancies for the 2020\/2021 course. Therefore, there will be 2553 new vacancies in 47 degrees and double degrees for the next course. 40 out of these degrees and double degrees will be given in the UPO campus (2127 vacancies) and 7 out of those ones in the associated university centre San Isidoro de Sevilla (426 vacancies)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Thus, UPO keeps its academic offerings consisting of 29 degrees with 1910 vacancies and 18 double degrees with 643 vacancies. After concluding the university access phase of the last academic year, the degrees with the highest cut-off marks were Biotecnolog\u00eda (Biotechnology) with 12.19; Relaciones Internationales m\u00e1s Derecho (International Relations + Law) with 11.89; and Administraci\u00f3n y Direcci\u00f3n de Empresas en Ingl\u00e9s + Derecho (Administration and Business Management in English + Law) with 11.80.<\/p>\n

UPO remains its bet for the multidisciplinary training, teaching in English and the internationalisation of its degrees for the next academic year<\/strong>. Apart from the degree in Administraci\u00f3n y Direcci\u00f3n de Empresas (Administration and Business Management), fully taught in English, other 16 university degrees have added the English language to their syllabi. Regarding international degrees, apart from the degree in Derecho Hispano-Alem\u00e1n (German-Spanish Law) offered jointly by Bayreuth University (Germany), there has been added new agreements with European universities which allow students to obtain double degrees: Administraci\u00f3n y Direcci\u00f3n de Empresas (Administration and Business Management) can be studied as an international double degree in the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toru\u0144 (Poland) or in La Rochelle Business School (France); Biotecnolog\u00eda (Biotechnology) can be studied in the Universit\u00e9 de Rennes 1; and the degree in Traducci\u00f3n e Interpretaci\u00f3n (Translation and Interpreting) and Scienze della Mediazione Linguistica in the Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Torino (Italy).<\/p>\n
