Presentaci\u00f3n del profesor Antonio Jes\u00fas P\u00e9rez Pulido<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

La Universidad Pablo de Olavide celebra hoy la XII Jornada de Biotecnolog\u00eda<\/strong>, un encuentro en el que investigadores presentan sus proyectos del \u00e1mbito biotecnol\u00f3gico y estudiantes de los m\u00e1steres de la UPO hacen lo propio con sus trabajos fin de m\u00e1ster. Adem\u00e1s, la jornada cuenta con una sesi\u00f3n de p\u00f3steres y se presenta una nueva edici\u00f3n de la revista Biosaia.<\/p>\n

En esta ocasi\u00f3n, tras la inauguraci\u00f3n de la jornada por parte del profesor del \u00c1rea de Biolog\u00eda Celular de la UPO Daniel Jos\u00e9 Moreno Fern\u00e1ndez-Ayala<\/strong>, el profesor Antonio Jes\u00fas P\u00e9rez Pulido<\/strong>, del Departamento de Biolog\u00eda Molecular e Ingenier\u00eda Bioqu\u00edmica de la Universidad Pablo de Olavide, ha presentado \u2018What can bioinformatics do to answer microbiologial questions?\u2019.<\/p>\n

A continuaci\u00f3n, el profesor ha dado el turno a los estudiantes: Antonio Moreno Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>, con \u2018Analysis of the association between bacteriophages and related strains Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria\u2019; Salvador Mart\u00edn Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, con \u2018Analysis of the association between bacteriophages and related strains Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria; y Luis Andreo-Andreu<\/strong>, con \u2018Characterization of the antimicrobial activity of a clone with metagenomic DNA from a refinery\u2019.<\/p>\n

Tras la sesi\u00f3n de p\u00f3steres, que concluye a mediod\u00eda, Carlos Medina Morillas<\/strong>, profesor del Departamento de Microbiolog\u00eda de la Universidad de Sevilla, presenta \u2018Heterologous models for the detection of subcellular targets of rhizobacterial effector proteins: A multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving\u2019.<\/p>\n
