Fruto de ese trabajo, el grupo ha identificado un f\u00e1rmaco como posible tratamiento de enfermedades neurodegenerativas. Sus investigaciones han llevado a la creaci\u00f3n de la <em>spin off<\/em> \u2018OLAVIDE NEURON STX S.L.\u2019 (ONESTX) dedicada al desarrollo de f\u00e1rmacos para tratar enfermedades neurodegenerativas del sistema nervioso central.
