Dicho acto ha tenido lugar en el Museo Mud\u00e9jar de Carmona, un edificio del siglo XVI de propiedad municipal que servir\u00e1 de sede para albergar las actividades derivadas de la puesta en marcha de la c\u00e1tedra, que estar\u00e1 dirigida por\u00a0<strong>Fernando Quiles Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, profesor del Departamento de Geograf\u00eda, Historia y Filosof\u00eda de la UPO.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upo.es\/diario\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Catedra-CEIBA-2-scaled.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-30872263\" src=\"https:\/\/www.upo.es\/diario\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Catedra-CEIBA-2-360x198.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.upo.es\/diario\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Catedra-CEIBA-2-360x198.jpg 360w, https:\/\/www.upo.es\/diario\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Catedra-CEIBA-2-750x412.jpg 750w, https:\/\/www.upo.es\/diario\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Catedra-CEIBA-2-768x422.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.upo.es\/diario\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Catedra-CEIBA-2-1536x844.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.upo.es\/diario\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Catedra-CEIBA-2-2048x1125.jpg 2048w\" alt=\"\" width=\"360\" height=\"198\" \/><\/a>La presentaci\u00f3n de la nueva c\u00e1tedra universitaria ha contado tambi\u00e9n con la presencia del director de la sede Olavide en Carmona Rectora Rosario Valpuesta, Francisco Hidalgo Rosendo; el concejal delegado de Cultura, Turismo y Patrimonio Hist\u00f3rico del Ayuntamiento de Carmona, Ram\u00f3n Gavira Gord\u00f3n; el director de la C\u00e1tedra de Estudios del Barroco, Fernando Quiles Garc\u00eda y la decana de la Facultad de Humanidades, Rosario Moreno Soldevila.<\/p><p>La\u00a0<strong>C\u00e1tedra CEIBA-Olavide en Carmona<\/strong>\u00a0desarrollar\u00e1 actividades de formaci\u00f3n y empleabilidad, tales como seminarios, talleres, jornadas o ciclos de conferencias; actividades de investigaci\u00f3n, como promoci\u00f3n y participaci\u00f3n en proyectos y grupos de investigaci\u00f3n o elaboraci\u00f3n de estudios y trabajos sobre las materias objeto de la c\u00e1tedra. Tambi\u00e9n actividades de divulgaci\u00f3n y transferencia del conocimiento, como organizaci\u00f3n y participaci\u00f3n en congresos, convenciones, publicaciones sobre temas de inter\u00e9s en el \u00e1mbito de la c\u00e1tedra o desarrollo de actividades culturales y de difusi\u00f3n de la actividad docente e investigadora.<\/p><p>Las c\u00e1tedras institucionales y de empresa constituyen un medio id\u00f3neo para canalizar las relaciones de cooperaci\u00f3n entre la Universidad y las instituciones p\u00fablicas y privadas. Para la comunidad universitaria, estudiantes, profesores e investigadores, este tipo de c\u00e1tedras facilitan la relaci\u00f3n con empresas e instituciones de primer nivel, propiciando la colaboraci\u00f3n en actividades de formaci\u00f3n, la generaci\u00f3n y divulgaci\u00f3n de conocimiento, la transferencia tecnol\u00f3gica y la investigaci\u00f3n, de ah\u00ed que el Vicerrectorado de Relaciones Institucionales y Fundaciones, dirigido por Laura L\u00f3pez de la Cruz, est\u00e9 apostando por promocionar las c\u00e1tedras a nivel institucional.<\/p><p>Asimismo, en el transcurso del acto,\u00a0<strong>el rector de la Universidad Pablo de Olavide ha firmado un documento de adhesi\u00f3n a la declaraci\u00f3n del paisaje cultural urbano de Carmona como Patrimonio Mundial<\/strong>.<\/p><p>La ciudad de Carmona posee una suma de valores ambientales, hist\u00f3ricos, culturales y patrimoniales, universalmente reconocidos; entre los que encuentran su ubicaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica, su riqueza paisaj\u00edstica, la presencia continuada de asentamientos humanos durante m\u00e1s de 5.000 a\u00f1os de historia, su relevancia hist\u00f3rica, as\u00ed como su extraordinario conjunto patrimonial y cultural, que constituyen algunos de sus rasgos m\u00e1s sobresalientes. Como resultado de todo ello, el paisaje cultural urbano de Carmona es un ejemplo eminente, destacado y singular de los procesos y modos tradicionales de asentamiento humano y de su interacci\u00f3n con su entorno natural, desarrollado de forma din\u00e1mica a lo largo de la historia.<\/p><p>La Universidad Pablo de Olavide mantiene una intensa alianza cultural, formativa y docente con Carmona, que se traduce en la amplia y variada actividad de la sede universitaria Olavide en Carmona-Rectora Rosario Valpuesta. Reconociendo estos valores y las estrechas relaciones que unen a la UPO con Carmona, con la firma de este documento la Pablo de Olavide se adhiere activamente a la candidatura del Paisaje Cultural Urbano de Carmona para su Declaraci\u00f3n como Patrimonio
