{"id":36841,"date":"2024-06-18T12:50:21","date_gmt":"2024-06-18T10:50:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.upo.es\/formacionpermanente\/?p=36841"},"modified":"2024-06-18T12:50:21","modified_gmt":"2024-06-18T10:50:21","slug":"hay-periodistas-y-medios-de-comunicacion-que-generan-y-difunden-mentiras-y-desinforman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.upo.es\/formacionpermanente\/hay-periodistas-y-medios-de-comunicacion-que-generan-y-difunden-mentiras-y-desinforman\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cHay periodistas y medios de comunicaci\u00f3n que generan y difunden mentiras y desinforman\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>El presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n de la Prensa de Sevilla, Rafael Rodr\u00edguez, alerta de que esta situaci\u00f3n pone en jaque \u201cla democracia y la convivencia\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El periodismo no est\u00e1 ofreciendo una respuesta adecuada a la \u201cpandemia\u201d de desinformaci\u00f3n y mentiras porque \u201chay periodistas y medios que generan y difunden mentiras y que desinforman\u201d porque est\u00e1n dedicados a \u201cmilitar en la mentira y a agitar y a propagar desinformaci\u00f3n con el apoyo de poderes institucionales, pol\u00edticos, econ\u00f3micos y partidarios\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed lo ha asegurado el presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n de la Prensa de Sevilla, Rafael Rodr\u00edguez, para quien estamos en una \u201cedad de oro de la mentira y de la desinformaci\u00f3n\u201d que hay que combatir desde el periodismo y con una ciudadan\u00eda \u201ccon una actitud cr\u00edtica y de pensamiento porque est\u00e1n en juego la democracia y la convivencia\u201d, donde las redes sociales, las plataformas y la inteligencia artificial \u201cnos est\u00e1n comiendo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Rodr\u00edguez ha hecho estas declaraciones en el marco del taller \u2018El periodismo en la edad de oro de la desinformaci\u00f3n y la mentira\u2019, que \u00e9l mismo dirige y que se imparte hoy en Carmona dentro de la programaci\u00f3n de los cursos de verano de la UPO. Para el presidente de los periodistas sevillanos, la desinformaci\u00f3n \u201cnos llega desde todas las partes\u201d y sus responsables son \u201cquienes tienen o pretenden tener poder para dominar el mundo a favor de sus intereses\u201d, por lo que cree que el buen periodismo debe \u201crenacer e imponerse\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>En este sentido, subraya que la respuesta del periodista debe estar en hacer \u201cperiodismo de valores en estado puro\u201d, que consiste en \u201cdudar de todo, no fiarse de lo ajeno y contar lo que sabe; el periodista tiene que ir, ver, o\u00edr, preguntar, repreguntar, contextualizar, contrastar y luego contar\u201d, explica.<\/p>\n<p>Rafael Rodr\u00edguez ha insistido en que, frente a una ciudadan\u00eda f\u00e1cil de manipular que adolece de pensamiento cr\u00edtico, las mentiras y la desinformaci\u00f3n \u201cponen en peligro la propia democracia\u201d, a lo que ayuda la precariedad de un sector profesional, tanto en lo econ\u00f3mico y laboral como en lo \u00e9tico y deontol\u00f3gico, donde los periodistas son \u201cpresa f\u00e1cil de intereses espurios\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>La consecuencia es que la ciudadan\u00eda \u201ccada vez cree y conf\u00eda menos en nosotros\u201d, pese a tratarse de un pilar fundamental para la calidad de la democracia y para la sociedad, por lo que ha pedido a los periodistas que difundan siempre una informaci\u00f3n \u201chonesta y veraz\u201d y que denuncien a los periodistas y medios que mienten y desinforman porque hay que \u201climpiar la casa en beneficio de la profesi\u00f3n y de la sociedad\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto al papel que juegan las redes sociales y las plataformas digitales en la difusi\u00f3n de noticias falsas, el director del taller que se imparte en Carmona ha calificado \u00e9stas de \u201cpara\u00edso universal e inmediato de la mentira y la desinformaci\u00f3n\u201d cuando, bien utilizadas, \u201csuponen una importante y positiva herramienta de trabajo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, Rodr\u00edguez ha abogado por el desarrollo de la alfabetizaci\u00f3n medi\u00e1tica y digital de la sociedad como medio \u201cnecesario y urgente\u201d para educar a la ciudadan\u00eda ante toda la informaci\u00f3n que le llega, de manera que esta formaci\u00f3n espec\u00edfica la dote de una actitud cr\u00edtica. Cree que deber\u00eda ser una asignatura en todos los tramos de ense\u00f1anza, desde infantil hasta la universidad, y que se deber\u00edan de impartir talleres de educomunicaci\u00f3n en todos los grupos sociales y franjas de edad. \u201cEs fundamental que la gente piense por s\u00ed misma.
