The 2015 IAFFE Annual Conference theme, \u201cGender Equality in Challenging Times\u201d is intended to encourage \u00a0interdisciplinary \u00a0 dialogue \u00a0on \u00a0how \u00a0feminist \u00a0economics \u00a0contributes \u00a0 to \u00a0the \u00a0many challenges \u00a0we face throughout \u00a0the world. These challenges \u00a0include \u00a0economic \u00a0crises, austerity policies \u00a0in \u00a0European \u00a0countries, \u00a0the \u00a0transformation \u00a0 of \u00a0the \u00a0welfare \u00a0state, \u00a0care \u00a0crisis, \u00a0social challenges \u00a0in \u00a0emerging \u00a0economies, \u00a0and \u00a0employment \u00a0and \u00a0migration \u00a0around \u00a0the \u00a0world. \u00a0Other important \u00a0themes \u00a0include \u00a0comparative \u00a0studies \u00a0of \u00a0social \u00a0welfare \u00a0policy, \u00a0domestic \u00a0violence, feminist ecology, the intersectional analysis of race, ethnicity and gender, and sex work. Panel proposals and individual paper submissions are invited on any aspect of feminist inquiry into economic issues. Interdisciplinary approaches are welcome.<\/p>\n
Submissions:<\/strong> Abstracts must be submitted on-line via the IAFFE website. Submissions \u00a0can be made \u00a0for a roundtable\/panel or an individual \u00a0paper. \u00a0Participants \u00a0are limited to one paper presentation and one roundtable\/panel. Additional co-authored papers are allowed only if they are presented by the co-author.
