Bachelor\u2019s degree in History from the University of Granada (2011). PhD in Early Modern History from the University Pablo de Olavide (2022), with the dissertation Negotiation, Power and Sovereignty in the Low Countries (1598-1621)<\/em>. His thesis was awarded Extraordinary PhD Award in 2023. Between 2013 and 2017 he held a doctoral scholarship (FPU) at University Pablo de Olavide. He is currently affiliated researcher at the Early Modern History group at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide. He has carried out research stays at the University of Leiden (Netherlands) and the University of Leuven (Belgium). Thanks to several grants he received from Nederlandse Taalunie<\/em>, his training in Dutch language allowed him to approach to Dutch and Belgian archives. In 2018 he was research fellow at the Leibniz Institute for European History (Mainz, Germany).<\/p>\n

His research proposes a re-reading of the conflict between the Hispanic Monarchy and the United Provinces. In particular, he analyses the role played by local and cross-border actors in the evolution of Hispano-Dutch relations, which justifies his interest in the study of urban diplomacy and political communication.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
