Montserrat Cachero Vinuesa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Seville and a Doctorate in History from the European University Institute in Florence. She has been a faculty member in the field of Economic History and Institutions at the University Pablo de Olavide since 2010. Her academic journey has seen her serve as a Distinguished Academic Visitor at Queens\u2019 College (University of Cambridge) and a Visiting Fellow at the Center for History and Economics (Harvard University). Her research interests have revolved around the examination of the instruments that facilitated the development of Atlantic trade during the 16th and 17th centuries, the expansion of credit markets in the Carrera de Indias, and the commercial relationships among the involved agents.<\/p>\n

Methodologically, she specializes in the field of Historical Network Analysis and has authored numerous articles, both theoretical and applied, in high-impact journals and internationally renowned publishers. Currently, she co-directs the project titled \u00abLas redes del comercio de libros en la Monarqu\u00eda Hisp\u00e1nica: mercados, agentes y arquitectura financiera. 1501-1648,\u00bb which is funded by the Ministry of Science and Research.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
