Le \u00e9lites italiane e la monarchia ispanica (secoli XVI-XVII): servizio, mobilit\u00e0 e poteri<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

Estudiando las modalidades con las que las \u00e9lites italianas participaron en la gesti\u00f3n administrativa, pol\u00edtica, militar y religiosa de la Monarqu\u00eda Hisp\u00e1nica, este libro destaca los diversos grados y formas de su contribuci\u00f3n a la hegemon\u00eda espa\u00f1ola. El estudio se inserta en los debates actuales sobre las configuraciones territoriales de un imperio global como el espa\u00f1ol, relacionando los servicios prestados a la Corona, las formas de movilidad asociadas a ellos y la adquisici\u00f3n de signos de distinci\u00f3n social. El enfoque adoptado combina una perspectiva prosopogr\u00e1fica \u2014basada en el an\u00e1lisis de las carreras de los miembros de diversos cuerpos al servicio de la Monarqu\u00eda (eclesi\u00e1sticos, togados, financieros, empresarios de la guerra) y de los destinatarios de las principales dignidades de la Monarqu\u00eda (Tois\u00f3n de Oro, Grandeza de Espa\u00f1a, \u00f3rdenes militares castellanas)\u2014 con el an\u00e1lisis de trayectorias individuales y familiares. Asimismo, pretende ofrecer una mejor comprensi\u00f3n de las jerarqu\u00edas sociopol\u00edticas y de los fundamentos de la hegemon\u00eda espa\u00f1ola en la Italia de los siglos XVI y XVII.<\/p>
