Edurne Bartolom\u00e9-Peral<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dr.EdurneBartolom\u00e9-Peral is Associate Professor at the University of Deusto (Spain), Department of Social and Human Sciences. She has developed most of her research and publications on the study of political culture, political values and attitudes in comparative perspective, political support and trust, and the application of experimental models. She has a degree in sociology (University of Deusto), and political science and Administration (University of Basque Country). Since 2002 she has worked on the field of values and political attitudes in comparative perspective. She is currently Program director of European Values Study in Spain. She has published in journals such as democratization, Journal on Ethnopolitics and Minority Issues in Europe (JEMIE), Methodology-European Journal of Research Methods for the Behavioural and Social Sciences, Migraciones, European societies, Spanish journal of Political science <\/em>among others, and has published book chapters in Brill, Palgrave McMillan and Routledge<\/em>, and G\u00f6ttingen University Press <\/em>among others. She is principal investigator of several projects funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, on distrust in outgroups (Grant number CSO2012-  34684 for 2012-2015) Attitudes on fraud and tax evasion (Grant number CSO2015- 66077-R for 2015-2018) currently one on social change and value change (Grant number PID2019-106882RB-I00 for the years 2020-2023).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Vincent Druliolle<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Vincent Druliolle obtained his PhD in Politics from the University of Essex in 2011. Between 2011 and 2019, he worked at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, first as a postdoctoral fellow (2011-2013), and then as assistant professor (2013-2019). During the academic year 2014-2015 he was Santander Visiting Fellow in the European Studies Centre, St Antony’s College, University of Oxford. He joined the University of Deusto in September 2019. His research focuses on theories of democracy, the politics of memory, and transitional justice. His work has been published in journals such as The Journal of Human Rights and the International Journal of Transitional Justice. He is also the co-editor de The Memory of State Terrorism in the Southern Cone: Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay (with Francesca Lessa, Palgrave Macmillan, 2011) and The Politics of Victimhood in Post-conflict Societies Comparative and Analytical Perspectives (with Roddy Brett, Palgrave Macmillan, 2018).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Mariana Sendra<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Mariana Sendra holds a PhD in Comparative Politics by the University of Salamanca (Spain), and a MA in Political Science from the same institution. Since 2023, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Deusto. She has been a visiting doctoral researcher at the University of Cologne (Germany) and Central European University (Hungary). Her main lines of research and publications are related to public opinion, electoral behavior and the partisan representation of citizen preferences and attitudes, with focus on right-wing parties. Some of her works have been published in International Political Science Review, International Sociological Review and Political Studies Review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ainhoa Izaguirre Choperena<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Holds a degree in Social Work from the University of Deusto and a master\u2019s degree in Intervention in Violence against Women (University of Deusto). PhD in Social and Human Sciences from the University of Deusto, with the thesis entitled “Intimate partner violence and its impact on children” which obtained the maximum qualification of Cum Laude and the international mention. Lecturer and researcher at the Department of Social Work and Sociology of the University of Deusto. Member of the Deusto Social Values research team. Her research and publications are aimed at understanding intimate partner violence (IPV), more specifically, its impact on the children\u2019s well-being. In addition, she is also interested in studying the relationship between children\u2019s exposure to IPV and children\u2019s learning and reproduction of aggressive behaviors toward their parents and their adolescent dating partner. Other areas of research interest are linked to the third sector and social exclusion. She collaborates with specialized journals as a reviewer and evaluator. She is currently taking part in different European projects and is the principal investigator of the recently begun European project IMPROVE (H2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steffen Bay Rasmussen<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Steffen Bay Rasmussen is currently associate professor at the University of Deusto (Spain) and Director of Studies of the Erasmus Mundus Master in Euroculture: Society, politics and culture in a global context as well as academic coordinator of the Degree in International Relations and the Double Degree in International Relations and Law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steffen holds a PhD in International Relations, and teaches courses on Public International Law and International Relations, including on the history and theory of European integration, comparative regional integration and public diplomacy. He has been a visiting professor and researcher at various academic institutions, such as the Netherlands Institute of International Relations (Clingendael), the Sultan Qaboos University (Oman), University of Navarra (Spain), and the University of the Basque Country (Spain).  His current research is centred on EU international strategy and diplomatic relations, public diplomacy as well as on questions of international identity and ontological security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ayauzhan Kamatayeva<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ayauzhan Kamatayeva is a Ph.D. student in Human Rights: Ethical, Social, and Political Challenges at Deusto University and the Horizon 2020 Early-Stage Researcher (MSCA). Her research interests evolve around the issues of value transition and political trust, and their effect on electoral politics in Europe. She is a member of the research unit Deusto Social Values. Ayauzhan has presented her research project at global political science stages such as Electoral Integrity Project Conference, ECPR General Conference, and UACES Conference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is a graduate of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master\u2019s Degree (EMJMD) in European politics and Society from the Pompeu Fabra University (Spain), Leiden University (Netherlands), and Charles University (Czech Republic). She holds a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Political Science and International Relations from Nazarbayev University (Kazakhstan).   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has also over two years of experience working with government, NGOs, and the private sector. Besides, Ayauzhan is skilled in first-hand direct observations and practical management of elections, which she gained while working as an independent observer at the presidential and parliamentary elections of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2016 and 2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
