Las investigaciones se dirigen a explorar la diferenciaci\u00f3n social conforme a patrones espaciales, con especial atenci\u00f3n a los aspectos de g\u00e9nero y juventud, as\u00ed como a los agentes sociales m\u00e1s vulnerables y al \u00e1mbito rural. Se estudian, asimismo, las dimensiones sociales de la movilidad espacial, como elemento articulador de las sociedades contempor\u00e1neas. A su vez, desde un enfoque m\u00e1s socioecon\u00f3mico, se toman en consideraci\u00f3n los procesos, agentes y pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas que intervienen en el desarrollo local y rural. Se explora como todo ello contribuye a la sostenibilidad social y ambiental de diferentes \u00e1mbitos territoriales.
