He is interested in 1) interlanguage, cross-cultural pragmatics and politeness, 2) intercultural communication through audio-visual translation: speech acts, cultural representations and stereotypes, and 3) language attitudes and perceptions: Native VS non-native speakers attitudes towards learning and speech acts.
