The congress will feature the following plenary speakers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Anne Barron, Leuphana University L\u00fcneburg<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Nuria Lorenzo-Dus, Swansea University<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Crispin Thurlow, University of Bern<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The three days of the conference were full activities, with more than a hundred participants and four parallel sessions, from 8:00 to 19:00. This year, due to the pandemic, the congress was multimodal, with both face-to-face and virtual sessions. In addition, the conference included social events such as a guided tour and an official conference dinner for all participants. The conference program can be accessed at the following <a href=\"https:\/\/eventos.upo.es\/68581\/detail\/x-international-symposium-on-intercultural-cognitive-and-social-pragmatics-epics-x-23th-25th-may-20.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Three of the members of the DIHIS group (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upo.es\/investiga\/dihis\/members\/manuel-padilla-cruz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manuel Padilla Cruz<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upo.es\/investiga\/dihis\/members\/lucia-fernandez-amaya\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luc\u00eda Fern\u00e1ndez Amaya<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upo.es\/investiga\/dihis\/members\/maria-de-la-o-hernandez-lopez\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mar\u00eda de la O Hern\u00e1ndez L\u00f3pez<\/a>)<\/strong> were part of the organizing committee of the congress. Some of the members of the DIHIS group were also present as speakers in various communications related to digital discourse and pragmatics. Among them were <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upo.es\/investiga\/dihis\/members\/carlos-de-pablos-ortega\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carlos De Pablos Ortega<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upo.es\/investiga\/dihis\/members\/patricia-bou-franch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Patricia Bou Franch<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upo.es\/investiga\/dihis\/members\/carmen-maiz-arevalo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carmen Ma\u00edz Ar\u00e9valo<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Image of the conference, where the organizers appear.
