The researcher Pedro Omar Svriz Wucherer (US), former member of the PAI HUM 1000 research group, is organizing the first international workshop \"La Compa\u00f1\u00eda de Jes\u00fas y sus actividades econ\u00f3micas en los imperios ib\u00e9ricos\" on September 17. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event, which will be held in two sessions, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, will analyze the religious congregation as commercial agents and facilitators of the exchange and\/or consumption of products in different areas of the Iberian empires. To this end, the meeting will feature presentations by different researchers from European and American institutions who, from different points of view, will gather to analyze the development of this religious order between the 16th and 18th centuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
