Obtuvo el Master of Arts en la Saint Mary&#8217;s University of Halifax (Canad\u00e1), y realiz\u00f3 su tesis doctoral en la  National University of Ireland en Galway. Ha sido investigador en el Istituto di Storia dell&#8217;Europa Mediterranea (CNR-Italy&#8217;s National Research Council) e investigador posdoctoral en el  Cushwa Center for the study of American Catholicism, University of Notre Dame (EE.UU.). Es autor del volumen <em>Making, Breaking and Remaking the Irish Missionary Network.&nbsp;Ireland, Rome and the West Indies in the Seventeenth Century&nbsp;<\/em>(Palgrave 2020), editor de <em>Rome and Irish Catholicism in the Atlantic World, 1622\u20131908&nbsp;<\/em>(Palgrave, 2018) y de <em>Luke Wadding, the Irish Franciscans, and Global Catholicism<\/em>&nbsp;(Routledge, 2020). Sus \u00e1reas de investigaci\u00f3n son las redes clericales irlandesas y las comunidades irlandesas en la pen\u00ednsula italiana y en el mundo atl\u00e1ntico, con un inter\u00e9s especial en el Caribe, desde finales del siglo XVI a finales del siglo XVIII. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Su ensayo pronto se publicar\u00e1 en el segundo volumen de Oxford History of British and Irish Catholicism. Es el editor de The English Community of Rome, que ser\u00e1 publicado por Brill en 2024.
