Gasch-Tom\u00e1s cuenta con numerosas publicaciones sobre el comercio y el consumo de productos asi\u00e1ticos en el imperio espa\u00f1ol durante el siglo XVII, as\u00ed como sobre la importancia de las redes de migrantes y comerciantes a trav\u00e9s del oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico y Atl\u00e1ntico en la configuraci\u00f3n de la Globalizaci\u00f3n durante la Edad Moderna.
