She graduated in Translation and Interpreting at the Universidad de Granada and has been a Sworn Translator and Interpreter of English appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1999. In 2016, she obtained her PhD from Universidad Pablo de Olavide with the thesis <a href=\"https:\/\/investiga.upo.es\/documentos\/5eb124a729995246d441a368\">The Judgment as an Object of English-Spanish Translation: A Corpus-Based Study of Intellectual Property Judgments of the United States and Spain<\/a>. She has worked as a freelance translator and interpreter since 2002 and has also worked as a lecturer in Translation and Legal Spanish at the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) since 2009. She is currently part of the editorial team management of the journal    <a href=\"https:\/\/revistas.uma.es\/index.php\/revtracom\/index\"> <em>Entreculturas.
