In 2004, she obtained a degree in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Granada. She is certified translator and interpreter of English authorised by the Spanish Minisitry of Foreign Affairs since 2005. She completed her PhD with a Thesis entitled \u201cDeontological and Professional Aspects of Legal, Sworn and Court Translation\u201d in 2008 at the University of M\u00e1laga which received the extraordinary doctorate award. Since then, she has been actively involved in teaching at undergraduate, master\u2019s, and doctoral levels at various universities, both nationally and internationally (University of M\u00e1laga, Autonomous University of Madrid, Universit\u00e9 Rennes 2, University of \u00c9vora, LUSPIO University of Rome, etc.). She has also undertaken several pre- and postdoctoral academic mobility stays at internationally renowned institutions.     <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From 2005 to September 2017 she was a member of the research group HUM 767 on Translation, Communication and Applied Linguistics (University of M\u00e1laga). At present, she is a member of the Interglosia Research Group (HUM-996) at the University Pablo de Olavide. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2004, she has participated in various research projects related to legal and sworn translation, professional practice and the ethical dimension of translation and interpreting, as well as the teaching of translation and interpreting.
