During March 15-16, 2023, Savonia University of Applied Sciences in Kuopio, Finland has hosted a meeting of partners of the project “Universities for Sustainable Development”.
The main activity of the meeting was a training on PRIA method – the Prospective Rapid Impact Assessment. PRIA is a method which gives good opportunities for engagement and participation. It supports decision making in complex decision-making situations, like creation of Action Plans.
The goal of the meeting was to introduce and discuss the methodology which will support the creation of the Action Plans for USD project partners. The PRIA training consisted of two parts: firstly, a demo PRIA case, Savonia Responsibility Plan, was introduced. The participants worked on the demo case creating and assessing actions. The second part addressed the partner cases, where we started designing the PRIA processes. The goal is to use PRIA during April-May for the creation of Action plans.
The general objective of the project “Universities for Sustainable Development” is to accelerate the compliance with the 2030 Agenda by intensifying the key role of the member institutions of EHEA.
