The Enhancer Screen was designed, at José Luis Gómez-Skarmeta laboratory (GSlab), to evaluate the enhancer activity of a large number of non-coding regions from zebrafish, Xenopus and human genomes. To that end, we have used stable transgenic assays in zebrafish. As a result of these studies, we have generated a collection of zebrafish transgenic lines in which different tissues and organs are GFP-labeled.
