Elena Bautista has a degree in Languages from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla (Mexico). From 2009 to 2010, she attended Translation and Interpreting courses at the Université de Stendhal 3 Grenoble (France). In 2016, she obtained the ICELT (In-service Certificate in English Language Teaching) certification from Cambridge University. She also has a Diploma in Body Language. In 2017, she completed her Master’s degree in International Communication, Translation and Interpreting at the Pablo de Olavide University (Seville, Spain) where, currently, she is working on her doctoral thesis. She also completed a postgraduate degree in Legal Translation. Since 2012, she has worked as an English, French and Spanish teacher in Mexican, Spanish and Japanese institutions. As a translator and interpreter, she has worked for Mexican, Spanish, Canadian, French and American companies. His main lines of research are legal translation, court interpreting and commercial translation and interpreting.
