Description: The objective of this research project is to establish a profile of the core competencies needed to provide high quality interpreting in the field of international protection.
Results: The objective of the research was to establish a profile of the core competencies needed to provide a quality interpretation in the field of international protection. From this study, the essential competencies in this area were extracted, and a competency profile was designed for different types of interpretation courses in the contexts of international protection and public services.
