reviewAbstract
The article is a review of the book Cuestión de clase. De la crítica de la sociología a la acción política revolucionaria, written by Jesús Rodríguez Rojo, professor and researcher, and published by Bellaterra Edicions. The review focuses on an analysis of the work in two parts, each one embedded in a long political, theoretical and academic history. In the first, it attempts to demonstrate, in contrast to the most common meanings of class, that class relations, and therefore classes themselves, are articulated on the basis of the links established in and by the capitalist mode of production. The second part of the book explores the political terrain and raises crucial questions about citizenship and class political action, demonstrating the maxim that one of the foundations of Marxism is its practical character and its political intentionality, as Andrés Piqueras points out in the book's prologue.
