why SIALAB
Founded in 2024, the SynergIA Laboratory (SIALAB) explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and high-performance computing to tackle complex biomedical, environmental, and societal challenges. With a strong interdisciplinary foundation, SIALAB drives research in clinical AI, computer vision, image processing, bioinformatics, multimodal health data, and earth observation through spatial sensing and satellite data analysis. By bridging life sciences, remote sensing, social systems, and computational innovation, the lab is committed to advancing responsible, transparent, and high-impact technologies that contribute to human well-being and scientific progress..
