Sevilla, 10 December 2019. Pablo de Olavide University.
Practitioners and researchers met to discuss about the analysis and evaluation of integrated urban development initiatives promoted by the EU. The activity was centred on methodological issues about the design and evaluation of integrated urban projects developed in the framework of European initiatives. Strategies to measure main elements of this kind of projects from a comparative perspective (policy frame, contents, design quality, integrated strategy,…), and impact assessment strategies applying quasi-experimental designs and comparative case studies were discussed. These instruments and empirical data have been developed in the framework of the Urban Impacts Project funded by MINECO (Government of Spain) and EDRF (European Union). The main objective of this project is to analyse European Urban Policies applied in Spain from 1994 to 2007, and their impacts. A catalogue of projects show basic geographical and socio-economic traits of neighbourhoods and the integrated urban strategies developed https://www.upo.es/investiga/urbanimpacts/en/catalogue-intro/
