Intereses
With a basic training in Social Anthropology, from middle of the decade of 1990 I have been interested by the treatment of the food fact in the human societies across multidisciplinary approaches. My main interest areas are those of the local food and agriculture productions valuation, the located food and agriculture systems and the study and dynamic modification of the gastronomic patrimony.
The set of the production, distribution, making and food consumption activities represents a complex and dynamic domain, which expresses and is an expression of most of the social life aspects.In fact, the eating and meal world has numerous dimensions, between which stand out those of agronomic, environmental, cultural, economic and political order. The holistic looks development reveals like an imperative in the study and action especially that one related to itself with the feeding.
My professional career has developed in Spain and Argentina, concerning the axes of the applied research, the teaching, the extension activities organization and the science popularization.
