Grupo de Investigación Social y Acción Participativa

The Social Participatory Action Research Group (GISAP) combine from a multidisciplinary perspective social applied research and social intervention with participative approaches. Since it was founded in 1995 GISAP has grown in size and interest of research.

Currently GISAP includes 40 member with a very different research interests:

  • City, territory and mobility

  • Collective action, social intervention and political studies

  • Economic studies

  • Gender and sexualities

  • Health, corporeality and sports

  • Human-nature relationships

  • Indentities, alterity, and migration studies

  • Research methodologies

  • Symbolism, education and heritage processes

  • Tourism estudies
