Midiendo la incertidumbre en sistemas de innovación de Triple Hélice

El presente trabajo compara la interacción Universidad-Industria-Gobierno del sistema de innovación aeroespacial del Sur de california con el del Noroeste de Inglaterra; utilizando la metodología para medir la incertidumbre propuesta por Leydesdorf, Park y Lengynel (2013). Con información de diversas fuentes que privilegian los fondos de inversión sobre las patentes, el Sur de California mostró interacciones mayores en comparación con el Noroeste de Inglaterra. El impacto que los fondos públicos y las políticas gubernamentales sobre la industria, la transformación de la dinámica académica, el avance del campo de investigación, el desarrollo de innovaciones y el mercado, indican que este tipo de metodologías pueden ayudar la toma de decisiones en países en vías de desarrollo, a condición de que las fuentes de información y su disponibilidad mejoren.
