Most of the political elites begin their careers during their youth, generally by joining some of the youth organizations linked to the different political parties. The purpose of this article is to analyze the presence of the Socialist Youth of Spain (JSE) in the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE). For this, we study the presence of young people in the executive of this party between the year 2000 and the present, also analyzing their profiles. In this way, we will show that the representation of youth has not improved significantly during the period.
