La presencia del discurso sincretista adrianeo en el diseño y la decoración del c.c. “Odeón” de Villa Adriana

Con la subida del emperador Adriano al poder, el discurso político oficial del Imperio acogerá cambios substanciales que lo alejarán de su base expansionista para definirse como un territorio definido geográfica e identitariamente. Las fórmulas usadas por el emperador para reforzar esta nueva imagen será el favorecimiento de una visión sincrética y tendente al filo-helenismo, que quedará plasmada en diversas construcciones enmarcadas en su principado. Este artículo aborda el análisis arquitectónico y escultórico de una de ellas, el ‘odeón’ de Villa Adriana; una edificación poco abordada por la historiografía actual que dará muestras de cómo el nuevo discurso del emperador queda reflejado a través de los programas monumetales de su villa.Downloads
