Res Gestae Diui Augusti is a document which describes all of Augustus political career. It’s important to note that the
author of this document is Princeps himself. It’s content addresses the diverse political aspects that He was developing in his life, with special importance in the construction of the power basis that appears here for the first time. The value of this document is capital for understanding the political prototype conformed by Octavio when he converted in Princeps. This document starts with the beginning of his political career after He received the legacy of Caesar, and it finishes with the concession of the title which ends his political career, the Pater Patriae. In this way, Augustus was consecrated like the most important person in Rome, thanks to being the director of the Republic. This article, therefore, suggests creating a catalog to organize all the powers mentioned in the document.
