María del Mar Bornay Barrachina

Maria del Mar is a professor in the Business Department at UPO and has been been teaching “Spanish for Business” at the International Center for six years. She has also taught the course entitled “International Human Resource Management”.  For the preparation of her Ph.D., which she holds since 2007, she researched at several American universities, including the University of Central Florida. María del Mar speaks fluent English and has participated in numerous conferences and workshops in Europe and South America. She has also experience in assisting foreign students since she has worked as a coordinator of the main European student exchange programme (Erasmus) of three French and Italian universities.
