
Marta coordinates the professors at the International Center. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics (in bilingualism and the development of translation competence abroad) and two Master degrees in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and in English Teaching for Secondary Education from Pablo de Olavide University. She earned her BA in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Granada. Her passion for languages and interculturality has shaped her professional and academic career. Marta has international experience in the United States (Wheaton College, Massachusetts, and Rutgers University), Ireland (Dublin City University) and Germany (Universität Leipzig and Phillips-Universität Marburg). She has experience in International Education and teaches Translation Studies as wellas English and Spanish as a second language at Pablo de Olavide University and at its International Center.
