ART-RISK: Cooperation Project
The ART-RISK Cooperation project aims to establish a framework for cooperation in Ibero-America to research and exchange experiences in training on techniques and methodologies related to risk management and its impact on the rehabilitation of architectural heritage. The project focuses on establishing resilience protocols in historic centres to combat climate change, enabling local governments to improve the conservation and enhancement of their architectural heritage while minimizing losses in the event of natural, climatic, and human-made disasters.
Work will be carried out in various historic cities to develop a strategy in the Caribbean and Latin America, applying risk analysis and management tools, as well as strengthening the resilience of historic centres and their architectural heritage.
Members of the ART-RISK Cooperation project:
The project involves Andalusian groups PAI TEP 199 (Heritage, Technology, and Environment), TEP 211 (Heritage Construction), TEP-108 (Robotics and Computer Technology), FQM-164 (Discrete Mathematics: Graph Theory and Computational Geometry), and RNM-185 (Remote Sensing and Geochemistry).
